Hazine Avı Real-world treasure hunt
Hide a prize, place the clues, let friends find it step by step in the real world.
Hazine Avı turns a birthday, an office day or a walk in the park into a step-by-step treasure hunt. The organizer hides a prize and writes the clues; hunters unlock them one by one by scanning printed codes or reaching the right spot.
The idea comes from a childhood game: a hidden prize and a chain of notes, each pointing to the next. The app keeps that loop and replaces paper notes with printed QR codes or GPS points, so a hunt can be set up in minutes and played by families, friends or a whole office.
An organizer creates a hunt, adds steps with clues, prints a one-page code sheet or marks map points, and shares a six-character invite code. Hunters join with the code, play solo or in teams, and the organizer watches everyone's progress live, sends hints to anyone who is stuck and can pause or end the hunt.
Built with Flutter on top of Supabase, with the game rules enforced on the server so every player sees the same state and the organizer's panel stays in sync.
How it was built
The game is a chain of clues, and the app's job is to make setting up that chain take minutes rather than an evening. An organizer writes the steps, prints a one-page sheet of codes or drops points on a map, and shares a six-character invite code. Who is stuck and who has finished is visible live on the organizer's screen.
The decisive choice was to put the game rules in the database rather than in the app, so every phone sees the same truth: a step is unlocked once, in order, and location checks happen on the server. That is what makes teams, live progress, hints and a web panel for organizers possible without any of them getting out of sync.
