SQA turns the classic quiz into a duel. Each round you answer, then assign points to your rival and predict what they will pick; reading the opponent is worth as much as knowing the answer.
Three modes cover solo practice, private matches with friends and random online opponents. Twelve categories run from general knowledge and science to art and sports, and five jokers give a way out when a question is tough. Monthly, yearly and all-time leaderboards keep the competition going, with rewards for the top players each month.
The app is built with Flutter on Firebase: Authentication, Firestore and Cloud Functions handle accounts and live matches. The question bank is generated and translated with large language models into 17 languages, so players from different countries meet in the same arena. Coin packs run through RevenueCat and free play is supported by ads.
How it was built
The twist that shaped everything is the point system: after answering, you assign points to your rival and predict whether they will get it right. That makes a quiz into a duel where reading the other player matters, and it is why the game has jokers rather than lifelines.
The question bank is generated with large language models by category and translated into 17 languages, with the model chosen per language after comparing quality, so players from different countries meet in the same arena. Live matches are designed to survive a dropped connection, and monthly, yearly and all-time leaderboards give the top players a reason to come back.
